Ganet Strong was born in Sterling, Colorado on May 22, 1935, the second of four children to Edward and Genevieve (Polland) Kaepernik. She passed away on August 25, 2010 at the Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado at the age of 75.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2 p.m. in Wray at the First Christian Church. Interment will follow in the Grandview Cemetery.
