1A volleyball report

The Otis volleyball team has won four straight matches heading into Friday’s YWKC League match at Hi-Plains.
The Bulldogs also have a league match Tuesday at Bethune. They are 7-10 overall, 2-1 in league play.
Otis extended its winning streak with two wins last week.
It began October 5 with a 3-0 win at Flagler in a non-league match, 25-15, 25-10, 25-18. Jayce Perry recorded nine kills, Kayce Perry seven, Madelyn Willeke seven, Jaylin Weber three and Alli Hornung two. Hornung recorded 21 setting assists. Weber was 17-18 serving with five ace, J. Perry 13-13 with two aces, Hornung 8-10 with one ace, K. Perry 7-9 with two aces, and Destiny Henderson 4-5.
The Bulldogs then hosted Kit Carson on Saturday for their Homecoming match, gutting out a non-league win in four sets, 26-24, 12-25, 25-22, 25-19.
J. Perry had nine kills, Willeke eight, Rowan Tribelhorn six, Weber three, and Hornung one. Hornung had 22 assists. J. Perry was 15-16 serving, Weber 14-15 with two aces, Willeke 13-15 with oen ace, K. Perry 12-12, and Hornung 10-11 with two aces.

Lone Star
The Lone Star volleyball team is staying busy this week.
The Longhorns host Arickaree/Woodlin today, October 14, host Falgler on Saturday, play at Hi-Plains on Monday, before traveling to Deer Trail on Wednesday.
Lone Star is 7-10 overall after going 1-2 at the Stratton Bash, last Saturday.
They opened the day with a 25-16, 25-21 win over Flagler. However, that was followed with a 9-25, 14-25 loss to Stratton, then an 18-25, 18-25 loss to Akron. Statistics for Lone Star were not available.

Arickaree/Woodlin
The Arickaree/Woodlin volleyball team will look to pick up another YWKC League win when the Indian Mustangs travel to Lone Star today, October 14.
They are 7-10 overall, 2-1 in league play.
They picked up a league win on October 5, beating Bethune at home, 25-9, 25-6, 25-19. Arickaree/Woodlin stats were not available.
The Indian Mustangs had a league match at Kiowa last Friday, claiming a win in straight sets, 25-22, 25-21, 25-21. Statistics were not available.
