Linda Mae Metzler was born on September 29th, 1956 to her beloved parents Ted and Joann Graff and she passed peacefully into heaven to meet them both on January 20th, 2026, surrounded by love.
Linda was our Mom, Grammy, Aunt and Sister, before anything. She grew up in Fort Morgan, with her abundance of loving siblings, Virgil (Crystal) Graff, Tim (Debra) Graff, Randy (Betsy) Graff, Robin (Vern) Mastin, Lori (Rick) Musgrave, and Diana (Vaughn) Yearous. She was smart, savvy and determined. She met her first husband and was blessed with three wonderful children, April (Jeremy Ruiz) Heitschmidt, Brian (Angie) Reynolds, and Spike (Alisha) Reynolds.
She married the love of her life on April 3rd, 1987 in Dean Metzler and he completed her heart with three more kids in Ben (Niki) Metzler, Becky (Holly) Metzler, and Brenton Metzler. Their union solidified a family, and it would last, quite literally, through their entire lives ever after.
She was a beautician through most of her young adulthood before moving on to be incredibly successful in business throughout sales and even owning her own restaurants. She was steadfast in the support of her children and grandchildren, and great grandchildren, whom number in the scores. She was stubborn and fierce. She will be remembered for her strength and her ever-present love. Services will be held for both Dean and Linda on April 3 in Fort Morgan. Celebrating their anniversary. Details will follow.
