Graduation is Sunday

The high school graduation season really starts to pick up this weekend.

Yuma High School will hold its commencement Sunday at 1 p.m. in The Pit. Members of the Class of 2026 should arrive at 12 noon. The doors will open at the same time. There will be wheelchair access and assistance for those needing it.

The guest speaker will be Yuma Middle School Principal Josh Rahe. Approximately 60 graduates will be receiving their diplomas. The list of those who will be graduating cum laude, high distinction and honors was not available at press time as final grades still were being calculated. A cum laude student will give a speech, and there will be music by the YHS band students.
