The Otis High School basketball team is done for the holidays as its next games will be in 2026.
The Bulldogs played in the Akron Tournament last weekend. The final score against Heritage Christian on Friday was not reported as of earlier this week
However, the Bulldogs did beat Idalia 62-41 on Saturday. They outscored the Wolves 29-13 in the middle quarters after leading 17-15 following the first. Otis statistics were not available.

ARICKAREE BOYS
The Arickaree boys basketball team is 2-2 heading into one final game before the Christmas break.
The Bison host Fleming on Saturday.
They won 40-30 at Genoa-Hugo/Karval last Thursday. Jackson Cordell had 13 points and four rebounds, Jack Coraor 12 points and four rebounds, Bradley Hermes six points and two assists, Colten Sperry four points and four rebounds, Daniel Goff three points and seven rebounds, Colten Hermes one point and four rebounds, and Lucian Kumke six rebounds and five steals.
The Bison traveled west to Flatirons Academy on Saturday, losing 66-28. B. Hermes had nine points and three steals, Coraor six points, Cordell five points, Goff five points, C. Sperry two points and five rebounds, C. Hermes one point, and W. Sperry five assists and three rebounds.
LONE STAR BOYS
The Lone Star boys basketball team is heading into the Christmas break still looking for its first win.
The Longhorns are 0-6 after three games last week. They lost 66-18 at Peetz last Tuesday. Anderson Weathers had eight points and six rebounds, Riley Sherwood two points and five rebounds, Brock Fisher two points and five rebounds, Henry Glenn three points and four rebounds, Jack glenn three points, and Trevor Schoepner three rebounds.
Lone Star played in a tournament at Prairie last weekend. The Longhorns lost 60-9 to Prairie on Friday. Statistics were not available. They played Denver Waldorf on Saturday, losing 66-20. Lone Star statistics were not available.`
LONE STAR GIRLS
The Lone Star girls basketball team is 3-4 has it heads into the Christmas break.
The Longhorns played three consecutive games last week, the first being a 49-37 loss at Genoa-Hugo/Karval last Thursday. They held the lead after the first quarter, but trailed by halftime. Jade Kuntz had 21 points, four rebounds and three assists, Aimee Trejo five points and six rebounds, Peytyn Kuntz five points and five rebounds, Grace Cochran two points and five rebounds, Paityn Forry two points and four rebounds, and Bryn Cook two points and three rebounds.
Lone Star played in the Prairie tournament over the weekend, first losing 46-37 to Prairie. Trejo had 14 points and 12 rebounds, P. Kuntz eight points and four assists, J. Kuntz seven points, four rebounds and three assists, Cochran four points, five rebounds and five assists, Cook two points and five rebounds, and Rosie Fisher two points. Emely Trejo had three rebounds.
The Longhorns rebounded on Saturday with a 46-18 win over Denver Waldorf. Lone Star statistics were not available.
