Several area high school track and field athletes have received all-state recognition.
The all-state selections were released on chsaanow.com late last week.
Yuma High School’s Chloe Smith was named to the 2A First Team in pole vault, as was Daphani Allen in the 200-meter dash. Layla Glanz and Carolina Ross were named to the Second Team in the 4-by-100 relay. Jade Lungwitz received honorable mention in the triple jump.
Lone Star’s Peytyn Kuntz was named to the 1A First Team in the pole vault, and Katie Etl was named to the Second Team in the pole vault. Otis’ Kensley Packer and Madelyn Willeke were named to the Second Team in the triple jump and pole vault, respectively. Lone Star’s Paityn Forry received honorable mention in the 300 hurdles, as did Otis’ Aedyn Tribelhorn in the 400 and Lydia Willeke in the pole vault.
On the boys side, Yuma’s Miles Rutledge was named to the 2A Second Team in the discus.

Lone Star’s Anderson Weathers was named to the 1A First Team in the 110-meter hurdles, the 300 hurdles and the pole vault. Otis’ Jayce Ballah was named to the First Team in the pole vault. Lone Star’s Grant Kuntz was named to the Second Team in the pole vault. Arickaree’s Zarron Skubal made the Second Team in the long jump and triple jump. Arickaree’s Keith Page received honorable mention in the 110 hurdles.
