Nothing but Friday Night Lights for Yuma football in 2023

It is going to be Friday Night Lights all season long for the Yuma High School football team in 2023.

All nine regular-season games will be on Friday’s each with a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Yuma Football Team has played a handful of times on Thursdays and Saturdays in recent years, due to a shortage of officials.
However, the 2023 schedule found at arbiterlive.com, shows nothing but Friday nights for the upcoming season.
Yuma opens with four of its first five games on the road, but then finishes with three of four at home. The opponents are the same as in 2022.
The season opener is August 25 at Sterling. The home opener is September 1 against Burns, Wyoming. The North Central Conference opener is September 29 at Wiggins. The Yuma County Showdown with Wray is October 13 in Yuma.
