Thank you from Delores Pixler family

Jackie Casillas and Julie Weaver, daughters of Delores “Dee” Pixler, would like to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who reached out following their mother’s sudden passing last month. We are especially thankful to the Yuma ambulance response team and the police officers for their swift and compassionate action, and to Baucke Funeral Home for guiding us through every step of the process with care. Heartfelt thanks to Pastor Mike for leading the graveside service with such grace. The stories he shared and the symbolic thread brought meaning to a difficult moment. To those who sent a text, a card, or came to visit—your kind words and shared memories meant the world to us. The memorial contributions have been shared with the VFW and a local pet rescue, causes close to Mom’s heart. Special thanks to everyone who provided food, at the house and during the reception. Without your generosity, we may not have remembered to eat at all. A special thank you to our aunts, Cindy Snook and Mary Lou McMurphy, who consoled us while mourning the loss of their sister. Your strength and love carried us through. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such wonderful friends and family—many of whom traveled from near and far—to help us grieve and celebrate Mom’s life. She is deeply missed and we take comfort in knowing she was cherished by so many in our community.
