Timothy Dale Briscoe was born November 20, 1948 in Brush, Colorado, to Dale Wayne Briscoe and Bonnie Ruth Peters.
Tim grew up in Yuma, Colorado, where his family farmed. After high school, Tim was drafted into the army and spent three years in service of his country, including a year in Vietnam.
After release from the service, Tim married Susan Autry in 1970. To this union, two children were born, Shannon Dale and Bobbi Jo. Tim and Susan divorced in 1986 and Tim married Teresa McGinnis in 1992.
Over the years, Tim had several careers including working at Denver Bumper, owning his liquor store and working at Richmond American Homes. In his free time, Tim enjoyed ice racing, hill climbs and numerous types of racing, winning hundreds of trophies and plaques. After retiring from racing, Tim and Teresa spent many summers boating and camping at Standley Lake with friends. After retirement, Tim enjoyed spending more time with his family, traveling to Arizona when possible and eventually buying a second home in Chandler, Az.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa. Son Shannon (Renee) Daughter Bobbi Jo (Chad) Brothers Thomas and Terry (Robyn) Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Alan and Diane Wilson, Chuck and Kim McGinnis. Grandchildren- Ethan, Raya, Novalee, Cole, Levi, and Wyatt. Numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
