It appears Yuma will have a municipal election in April.
Former councilman Daniel Ebersole submitted an affidavit as a write-in candidate by this past Monday’s deadline. That brings the total number of candidates to four for three council seats.
Zach Diaz, Dan Baucke and Marc Shay submitted their nomination petitions the previous Monday. Baucke and Shay currently are on the council. Tim McClung, a current council member, remains the only candidate for mayor.
