Yuma Children’s Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Jordan Clark as its new director by the center’s governing body.
With a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for creating nurturing learning environments, Clark will lead the center’s continued commitment to high-quality care and education for young children and their families.
In this role, Clark will oversee daily operations, curriculum development, staff leadership, and family engagement initiatives. She brings six years of experience in education, including previous roles as an aide, toddler lead teacher, preschool lead teacher, first-second grade teacher, third grade teacher, and fourth grade teacher.
“The Board is very excited to have Jordan lead YCA,” Board Chair Chris Blecha said. “We have been working closely with her since January; she has great insight into the future of YCA and we look forward to the positive impact her leadership will have for our organization. We are confident that Jordan’s leadership, dedication to children’s development, and collaborative approach will strengthen our programs and support our families and staff.”
Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
“I’m honored to join Yuma Children’s Academy and look forward to working with the wonderful staff and families here,” Clark said. “Early childhood is such an important stage of development, and I’m excited to help create an environment where children feel safe, curious, and inspired to learn every day.”
Yuma Children’s Academy serves families in the Yuma area by providing high-quality early childhood education and care for children. Under Clark’s leadership, the center plans to continue strengthening its programs, supporting educators, and expanding opportunities for children to learn and grow.
