Yuma Library closed through January 7 due to flooding

This past Saturday, December 24, 2022, a broken water line in the Northeastern Junior College building flooded a portion of the Yuma Public Library.
Thanks to an alarm, NJC staff found the leak quickly, and City of Yuma staff were able to move the contents to a dry place.
NJC has brought in a water extraction service and a restoration company to make the necessary repairs. The library will be closed through Saturday, January 7, 2023, so that the repairs can be made.
Please watch the Yuma Pioneer and the City of Yuma’s social media pages for updates.
Thank you for your patience. We look forward to reopening as quickly as possible.
