Yuma High School’s volleyball team will be crossing state lines early in the 2025 season, and will have a long home stand later in the season.
The Outlaws once again open their season at the Kit Carson Tournament on Saturday, August 23. The home opener is Tuesday, September 2, against the Sidney (Neb.) Red Raiders, followed by road trips to Pines Bluff, Wyoming, and to Chase County in Imperial, Nebraska.
They have a five-match home stand on October 2 and continuing for two weeks.
Yuma will have its regular Lower Platte schedule including Akron, Caliche, Merino, Haxtun, Wiggins, Sedgwick County, Holyoke and rival Wray. The only 3A team the Outlaws play this fall are Sterling and Brush.
Regionals are November 8, followed by the state tournament in Denver.
The Outlaws went 9-13 last season and missed regional.
