Yuma woman remains missing

The Yuma Police Department and assisting agencies continue to try to determine the whereabouts of Britani Meek, 25, of Yuma.
A $5,000 reward now is being offered for information leading to her being found.
Law enforcement is looking for the public’s assistance in locating Meek who has been missing since October 25, 2023, around 2 a.m. Britani reportedly told family and friends she was heading to the Denver area to meet with someone whom she had been communicating with via text message or a messaging app. (She reportedly was last heard from at 2 p.m. that day.)
The Yuma Police Department has continued to diligently investigate this case into Britani’s whereabouts and followed up on all tips that have come in from the public. The YPD has reached out to several outside agencies for assistance, including the Colorado Bureau of Investigations, the District Attorney’s Office, the Denver Police Department, and the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Britani’s family and friends are deeply concerned for her well-being. The YPD is urging anyone who may have seen or heard from Britani or has information about her whereabouts to come forward and contact the Yuma Police Department at 970-848-5441.
