1A baseball report

The Otis High School baseball team will be getting in a lot of games in coming days.
The Bulldogs were 4-3 heading into this past Tuesday’s home doubleheader against Dayspring Christian. They are at Prairie for two today, May 27, and host Eads for a twin bill on Tuesday, June 1.
Otis hosted the Caliche Buffaloes last Thursday, dropping a 20-5 decision. Caliche led 11-1 after two innings. Otis’ best frame at the plate came in the fourth when the Bulldogs scored three runs.
Statistics for Otis were not available.

STRATTON LIBERTY BASEBALL
The Stratton/Liberty baseball team reached the .500 mark, only to drop to 4-5 with a 16-5 loss at Caliche this past Monday.
The Knighted Eagles host Byers today, May 27, and are at Springfield on Memorial Day.
They evened their record at 4-4 with a pair of wins last Friday.
They beat La Veta 14-2 on the strength of 12 hits. Cooper Seamon had four hits, including a double, with five RBI and scored two runs, Camden Bledsoe three hits, one RBI and three runs, Cyler Notter two hits, two RBI and three runs, Ethan Bohnen two hits and one RBI, Jose Gallardo one hit, one RBI and two runs, and Bex Seamon one RBI and two runs.
Dawson Thompson got the complete-game victory on the hill, allowing one earned run on two hits, striking out 11 and walking only one.
Stratton/Liberty then played Eads, rallying with three runs in the top of the fifth to pull out a 3-2 win.
B. Seamon went 3-1/3 innings on the hill, allowing two earned runs on two hits, while striking out seven and walking five. Bledsoe went 1-2/3 innings, striking out one and yielding one hit.
Notter had two hits and one RBI, B. Seamon one hit, one RBI and one run, Bledsoe one hit, Charlie Tagtmeyer one run, and Joe Shean one run.
The winning streak came to an end this past Monday at Caliche, where the Buffaloes scored 13 runs in the second inning.
C. Seamon hit a three-run homer, B. Seamon hit a double and scored one run, Thompson one hit, Bledsoe one hit and one run, M. Tagtmeyer one hit, and Notter and Shean one run each.
