1A volleyball report

The Otis High School volleyball team is heading toward a regional berth if they can take care of business this week.
The Bulldogs are 9-11 overall heading into today’s match at Prairie. They close out the regular season Saturday in Hugo, taking on LaVeta and Genoa-Hugo/Karval. They enter their final matches No. 22 in the Class 1A Rating Percentage Index, and have been projected to reach the 24-team regional bracket, next week.
They played at 1A-power Haxtun last Thursday, October 21, losing in three sets, 18-25, 17-25, 21-25. Otis statistics were not available.

LONE STAR
The Lone Star volleyball team will be closing out the 2021 season this week.
The Longhorns hosted Class 1A top-ranked Briggsdale this past Tuesday, and close out the season Friday at Weldon Valley.
They entered this week 8-13 overall after splitting two matches last week.
They were at Deer Trail on October 20, claiming a 25-20, 25-8, 25-13 win. Lone Star statistics were not available.
The Longhorns then hosted Prairie last Saturday, losing 21-25, 21-25, 18-25. Statistics were not available.

ARICKAREE WOODLIN
Arickaree/Woodlin’s volleyball team might have an outside shot at the Class 1A 24-team regional field as it enters the final matches of the regular season.
The Indian Mustangs are 9-1 overall as they travel to tough Idalia team for its final regular-season match. They split two matches late last week.
They were at Deer Trail last Thursday, losing in four sets, 22-25, 25-12, 26-28, 22-25. Arickaree/Woodlin stats were not available.
They hosted Prairie on Friday, pulling out a four-set win. Scores and statistics were not available.
