All-LPAA baseball

Yuma High School’s baseball team had two players named to the All-Lower Platte Activities Association team by the league’s coaches.
Yahir Trejo — The senior hit .288 with five doubles and drove in 11 runs, and also scoring 18 times. He had a 2-3 pitching record with a 4.54 earned run average in 44-2/3 innings. He struck out 47 and issued 19 walks. Trejo also earned Class 2A All-State honorable mention.

Silas Baucke — The freshman had a strong high school debut. He had a 4-5 pitching record with a 4.17 earned run average in 45-1/3 innings. He struck out 69 and walked 32. He led the team with a .338 batting average with six doubles. He drove in 10 runs, and scored 18 times.

Deacon Trenkle, Kaden Piel, Chris Arambula, Taryn Yzaguirre, Owen Knode, Isaac Andersen, Brody Frye, Joey Uyemura, Xavier Livesay, Chance Everhart, Silas Baucke, Tyson Mosenteen, Yahir Trejo, Jackson Filla, Jerron Turney, Tanner Gerk, Tyler Miller, Kaden Schelling, Anderson Filla; honorable mention — Brock Swedlund, Seth Marick, Coen Schmidt and Camden Riggleman.
