Carol Jean Scott was born on June 10, 1937 in Yuma, Colorado to Willard and Lottie (Kohler) Robertson in Yuma, Colorado. Carol passed away on January 18, 2024 in Brighton, Colorado at the age of 86.
Carol received her education in Yuma and graduated from Yuma High School.
Carol married David Lee Scott on November 22, 1959. To this union three children were born Nancy, Greg and Keli. Carol and David spent almost fifty-nine years together before David passed on August 23, 2018.
Carol was a homemaker, wife and mother. She loved to dance and her greatest joy was taking care of her family.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Lottie Robertson; husband, David Scott; daughter, Nancy Scott; brothers, Boyd Robertson, Bill Robertson, Jack Robertson, Gerald (Honas) Robertson; sisters, Betty Wright and Maella Long.
Carol is survived by her son, Gregg Scott (Cherie); daughter, Keli Ginter (Robert); Grandsons, Trey Scott and Ryan Ginter (Victoria); great granddaughter, Summer Ginter and sister, Dixie Montgomery along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service was held Monday, January 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Baucke Funeral Chapel with Pastor Mike Fitzsimmons officiating. Inurnment to followed at the Yuma Cemetery in Yuma, Colorado.
