Dancing with Yuma Stars a benefit for possible rec center

There’s a new event in town that promises to be very entertaining and fun. Dancing with Yuma Stars will take place Wednesday, October 4, at Red Willow Event Center.
Six couples have been selected to learn a dance and will perform live at Red Willow in front of an audience. The audience will “vote” for their favorite dance couple with their dollars, $5 per vote. The champion will be based on the most “votes” received.
Proceeds from ticket sales and votes go to help fund the development phase for the Yuma Recreation Complex Project.
“We are very excited about this unique fundraiser,” event producer Alice Metzler said. “These couples have worked so hard rehearsing and preparing and we are expecting a sell out crowd”.
The six couples for the inaugural Dancing with Yuma Stars are:
• Ronella and Ryan Noble
• Annsley and Jonathan Ferrari
• Darlene and Bob Carpio
• Lori and Gary Hoffner
• Pat and Allen Davis
• Katherine Coughlin and Zach Diaz
Tickets are $10 for adults, $15 for reserved mezzanine seating, $5 kids 6-10, kids under 5 are free.
Tickets can be purchased at The Broken Vase and The Home Place, or through the individual dancers.
