Girls All-LPAA

Yuma High School’s girls basketball team has some representation on the 2021-22 All-Lower Platte Activities Association team.
Yuma had one player selected by the league coaches to the all-conference team, and one more receive honorable mention. League champion Holyoke had three selections, as did Sedgwick County.

Yuma All-LPAA
Lea Richardson — The junior had a solid season for a Yuma squad that was up and down throughout the campaign. She led the team in scoring at 11.7 points per game and in steals at 3.2 per game, and was second in rebounds at 5.6 per game. She will return next season with plenty of other promising players off a 10-12 team.
Caddis Robinson, honorable mention — The sophomore had some big-scoring games during the season, finishing second on the team in scoring at 8.8 points per game. She led the Tribe in rebounds at 5.8 per game, and also averaged nearly 2 steals per game.
