YHS boys golf

The Yuma High School boys golf team will be at the Wray Invitational on Tuesday.
It will be the varsity’s first action since playing in the Strasburg Invitational on Wednesday of this week.
Coach Benjamin Weathers took a foursome to the Resurrection Christian Invitational at Raindance National in Windsor earlier last week. Yuma finished 27th in the team standings with a score of 305. JJ Ward led Yuma with a 95, while Kaleb Jones shot a 101, Brodie Castillo 109, and Kyle Schuetz 120.
They were at the Cheyenne Wells Invitational later in the week, finishing third in the team standings with a 289. Castillo took top team honors with an 86, while Ward shot a 93, Jones 110 and Schuetz 114.
Yuma also fielded a team at the Burlington Invitational earlier last week, as Parker Dressel shot a 96, Will Noble 101 and Fynn Sims 105.
