Timothy Lynn Clark 1955-2025

Timothy Lynn Clark passed away on December 25, 2025 in Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center in Brush, Colorado after a long battle with dementia. He was born on December 17, 1955 in Yuma, Colorado. He was the son of Norman Miles “Shotgun” and Shirley LaVonne (Josh) Clark. He was the third of five siblings.

He graduated from Yuma High School in 1974. He then attended Wyoming Tech training as a mechanic. He graduated in 1975. With his mechanic training he worked in many places, Mitchell Implement, Monfort Cattle Company, John Deere Implement and Jimmie White to name a few. He also worked as a sales clerk at Coast to Coast and Ace Hardware, for the City of Yuma Street Department and the Yuma Police Department.

On October 18, 1975 Tim married Marja Lu Smith in Laramie, Wyoming. To this union Christopher Lynn was born on February 26, 1977.

Tim enjoyed life. He loved to tease and joke around, he never knew a stranger, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, restoring guns, black powder shooting, earning many trophies and medals. Tim loved and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. When there was a family gathering he was not inside with the adults he was outside playing with the children. He was a Boy Scout leader, a mentor in the mentoring program, a Hunter Safety Instructor, a Certified Gun Instructor, a member of Beecher Island Gun Club and on Yuma County Sheriff’s Reserves.

On November 1, 1986 Tim married Linda Kaye Serl in the Presbyterian Church in Yuma, Colorado. He became an active member of the First Presbyterian Church November 17, 2015.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Shirley Clark; Robert and Ella Louise Keim; brothers, Miles Clark and Michael Clark; sister, Shelly Clark; brothers in law, Richard Yenter, Terry Keim, Dan Keim and Kenny Keim.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Linda of Yuma, Colorado; son Chris (Ashlee) of Lovell, Wyoming; sister Mary Yenter of Eckley, Colorado; step daughter Jean Schroetlin (Keith) of Eckley, Colorado; step son, Clint Serl (Angie) of Greeley, Colorado; grandchildren, Dodge, Terrin, Kaden, Ariel Clark of Lovell, Wyoming; Tequra Washburn of Junction City, Kansas; Nathan Serl of McCook, Nebraska; Dalton Serl of Greeley, Colorado; great granddaughters, Azrielle Washburn and Quaraline Washburn of Junction City, Kansas; sister in law Sandy Clark of Ordway, Colorado; sister-in-laws, Vickie Keim and Delores Keim of Otis, Colorado; Jody Lowe of Laramie, Wyoming; Aunt Sandy Barrett (Robert) of Lewisville, North Carolina; Aunt Millie Keim along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A memorial service was be held on January 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Yuma, Colorado with Pastor Michael Fitzsimmons officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family prefers that memorials to Timothy Clark c/o of the Yuma County Federal Credit Union, 419 West 8th Avenue in Yuma, CO 80759 to go to the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center Foundation or Yuma Boy Scouts. Baucke Funeral is assisting with the arrangements.
