Angeline (Babanicols) Vrame 1938-2021

Angeline (Babanicols) Vrame was born September 20, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to Harry and Diamando (Greanias) Babanicols. She grew up in Chicago, and attended Morrill Elementary, Homer Greek School at St Nicholas Church, and Lindblom Technical High School. She graduated from Northwestern University in nearby Evanston, Illinois with a degree in education.
She was employed as a kindergarten teacher and married the love of her life, Bill Vrame in 1959. They raised their family in Chicago, Illinois and Madison, Wisconsin before finally settling in Boulder, Colorado.
After Bill’s passing in 1975, Angie stayed in Boulder to raise the three children on her own. She worked as a secretary and office manager before returning to school at the age of 60 when she earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling.
Over the years, Angie worked as a psychotherapist in Boulder, Wray and Longmont. She was also an active volunteer with many organizations in those communities. She was a member of St Luke Orthodox Christian Church in Erie, CO.
Angie will be remembered for her independent spirit, love of family and friends, and her jewelry. She also loved traveling and was able to enjoy many international trips throughout her life.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Diamando Babanicols and her husband William Vrame. She is survived by son Greg Vrame of Chicago, IL, daughter Nancy Helling and Kenny of Wray, CO and son Doug Vrame and Wendy of Wellington, New Zealand and grandchildren Will Helling and Lauren of Wray, CO, Stephanie Helling of Wray, CO, and Jackson and Luke Vrame of Wellington, New Zealand. She will be remembered by many friends who were so important to her.
Angie passed away November 5, 2021, in Wray, Colorado.
After 46 years apart, she returned to the loving arms of her husband where they will spend eternity together in peace and love.
A Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, 2:00 p.m. at the Schmidt-Jones Funeral Home in Wray, Colorado with Pastor Curtis Taylor officiating.
