On Tuesday April 12, 2022, at the age of 69, Leslie Joan Crosby passed away in a hospice in Fort Collins, CO. She went peacefully after a courageous struggle with fast-moving, inoperable brain cancer. Beloved wife of Harold Crosby, mother of Andrew Crosby, Katherine Call, and the late Mark Crosby (2021). Devoted grandmother (mimi) to Arya Crosby, Shea Call, and Everly Crosby. Sister to Sharon Butler and Lois Kirby.
Leslie was a dedicated teacher, drama coach, language instructor, substitute teacher, and mentor to everyone she encountered. As an artist, she enjoyed painting, sketching, cooking, knitting, gaming, and maintained her edge as a science fiction fanatic.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the Washington County Fairgrounds Pavilion in Akron, CO on Saturday, June 4th starting at 10 A.M. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Akron High School Drama Club.
