No fair royalty contest this year

The Yuma County Fair Queen Committee, along with Yuma County Commissioners and Yuma County Cattleman’s Association, announced this week that the Yuma County Fair & Rodeo Lady-in-Waiting Contest to tryout for the 2022 Queen, previously scheduled for July 30, 2020, has been canceled due to the impact of COVID-19.

This decision was not taken lightly, and every alternative option was explored first.
Yuma County Fair Queen Committee, Yuma County Commissioners, and Yuma County Cattleman’s Association have decided the current 2020 Queen Miss Morgan Jones, will continue her reign as Yuma County Fair & Rodeo Queen until end of August 2021.
