Patricia Ann Medeles was born in Englewood, CO on September 11, 1963, to Michael and Lillian Kardos. Trish passed away peacefully in her home on June 4, 2022.
Trish was the baby of five children, she had two brothers and two sisters. She spent most of her childhood in Littleton CO where she attended Franklin Elementary school until 1971 when her and her family moved to Westford Massachusetts. Her father’s work brought them back to Littleton in 1973 where she returned to Franklin Elementary and then on to Isaac Newton Jr High, and Arapahoe High School.
In 1985 she welcomed her first daughter, Valerie, she then welcomed her only son, Joe in 1990 and second daughter, Emily in 1992. Trish and her family moved to Otis in 1997, where they decided to establish roots. From 2000 to 2011 Trish played the role of a single mother, she worked extremely hard to make sure her children had everything they needed. She made every effort to attend all of her kids’ extracurricular activities and give them every opportunity possible. Trish met her best friend and the love of her life, Armando in January of 2011. They quickly fell in love and got married on March 18, 2011.
Trish held various jobs throughout her life including bartender, bank teller and semi dispatch, but if you asked her, she would say her most important and favorite job was being a mother and grandmother. Trish was blessed with fourteen grandchildren, and she adored each and every one of them. Seeing the smiles on all their faces brightened her days. Trish loved to laugh and tell jokes with her family and friends. She was always very supportive and ready to help anyone in any way she possibly could. The most precious thing to her was the love of her family, and her memory will live on with them all.
Trish is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Lillian Kardos, sister Jane Collins, brothers David and Michael Kardos and father-in-law Johnny Medeles.
Trish is survived by her husband Armando Medeles. Three children, Valerie Brown and her husband, Joseph Buser and his wife, and Emily Buser and her partner. Her stepchildren Courtney Unrein and her husband, Rayna Medeles, Lainey Medeles, and Sara Snell and her husband. Her grandchildren Gavin, Sierra, Makayla, Alexandra, Xander, Gabriel, Emmanuel, Avery, Natalie, Addlyn, Elizabeth, Isaac, Willow and Raia. Sister Linda Smith and her husband. Mother-in-law Janie Medeles. Many nieces and nephews as well as bothers and sisters in law, and her beloved dog Cheeky.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10 a.m. at the Akron Cemetery Pavilion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made in care of Armando Medeles.
