Chris Wood is running as a Republican for Yuma County Commissioner, District 2.
The seat currently is held by Democrat Dean Wingfield, who announced in December his bid for re-election.
Wood, a Wray-area resident, is a family man with a history of more than 100 years of family farming in Yuma County. From working on the family farm, to working for a local farm equipment business, Wood has put in the last 18 years working for the county’s residents at Yuma County Road & Bridge.
His announcement stated: “Why not have your next Commissioner be a man that has worked for you the last 18 years and has seen firsthand what can be changed to make our county better? Vote Chris Wood as your next Yuma County Commissioner, District 2.”
