YHS boys wrestlers keep earning dual wins

Yuma High School’s boys wrestling team keep racking up dual wins in the shortened 2021 season.

Yuma was on the mat this past Tuesday in The The Pit.
The Indians first dismantled Burlington, 48-24. John Smith had a 31-second pin at 120, Trey Stegman got a win by fall at 145, followed by Tyler Allen getting a 32-second pin at 152. Louden Blach got a win by fall at 170, and Brandon Mendoza got another win by fall at 285. Blaze Brophy had a win by forfeit at 138, as did Kevin Hermosillo at 182, and Kallen Blach at 195.

Yuma also took on Byers, claiming a 51-13 dual win.
Smith won an 8-3 decision at 120, Allen won by fall at 152, and forfeit wins were granted to Hugo Montes at 132, Trejo at 160, L. Blach at 170, Hermosillo at 182, K. Blach at 195, Jose Ruiz at 220, and Mendoza at 285.
