Otis boys The Otis Bulldogs are still practicing hard trying to change their season, but it just hasn’t happened yet. The Bulldogs hosted the Briggsdale Falcons on Friday January 31st. Otis tried hard, but just didn’t drop the balls through the net enough to change the outcome of the game.

Yuma High School’s wrestlers definitely have been challenged as they near the end of the regular season. After two tough duals in The Pit last week, followed by competing against bigger schools at the Northglenn tournament on Saturday, the Indians now host the annual Yuma County Showdown on the Mat.
The Lower Platte Activities Association’s regular season championship might be decided Saturday afternoon in The Pit. Yuma will be hosting Sedgwick County for the matinee. Both entered this week 3-0 in LPAA play, with Yuma 10-1 overall and the Cougars 11-0. However, both have league games before meeting up Saturday.

A busy and successful January continues for the Yuma High School boys wrestling team. The Indians had another great tournament run last Saturday, finishing second in the team standings at the Wiggins Invitational. They now get to wrestle on the home mat today, January 23, as they host a triangular
